1. Do we use cookies?
The current informational version of velano.bg is not designed to use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. We will update this policy if such tools are introduced or the technology changes.
2. Browser local storage
The site writes nothing to browser localStorage until you take an action. The following entries are used:
“velano-lang” — saves your selected website language (Bulgarian or English) so you do not need to choose it on every visit. It is created only when you use the language switch and remains until you clear this website’s browser data.
A temporary sessionStorage entry — remembers page scroll positions for back and forward navigation. It is deleted when you close the tab.
“velano-cart” — a functional cart-content entry. Online ordering is disabled while the shop is being prepared, so this entry is not created because the cart stays empty.
These entries are not intended for advertising or tracking. They support language preferences and website functionality. We will seek consent for other storage or access technologies that are not strictly necessary where required by law.
3. Third-party services
Fonts are hosted locally with the website and are not loaded from Google Fonts. Pages with enquiry forms load Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam-protection service that may use strictly necessary technical browser storage and processes IP address and browser data solely for the security check; it is not used for advertising or analytics. Catalogue information is loaded from Shopify, so your browser may send its IP address to Shopify. The website does not use these requests to set advertising or analytics cookies. We will update this description if external services change.
4. Managing storage
You can remove locally stored data and cookies through your browser settings. If we add analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies that require consent, we will activate them only after consent is given and update this policy.
